UH volleyball: Concert to follow Friday's match vs. Hope International

A concert will be held following Friday’s University of Hawaii men’s volleyball match against Hope International.

The "Volleyball Ka Pila" concert will feature the band “Why Bother” as well as other UH students in the Hawaiian ensemble class, taught by instructor Chadwick Pang.

Active, reservists, and retired members of the military will receive 50 percent off adult tickets (maximum of eight) to the volleyball matches on Thursday and Friday against Hope International at 7 p.m. A valid military identification card is required when purchasing tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office. Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply.

The Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is Thursday’s match sponsor and a contestant will win a two-night stay in an ocean-view room during the promotional activity at intermission.
Pepsi is Friday’s match sponsor with a year’s supply of Pepsi will be given away during the promotional contest between sets two and three.
