Each of Hawai'i's 51 public libraries will receive two copies of the biography of Clarence Ching, entitled "A Prophecy Fulfilled: The Story of Clarence T.C. Ching."

The donation was made by the foundation that bears the name of the late developer and philanthropist, through the Friends of the Library of Hawai'i's Makana Akamai ("gift of knowledge") book donation program.

The books will reach libraries soon.

Copies of the Ching biography are not in mainstream bookstores, but can also be found at these locations:

• The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation has donated 15,000 books to Hawai'i public and private high schools to be used as a fundraiser; schools keep 100 percent of profit for school programs. Check with your high school.

• Saint Louis School Bookstore, 3142 Wai'alae Ave.; 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays when school is in session.
