State regatta tomorrow

The First Hawaiian Bank/Hawai'i High School Athletic Association State Canoe Paddling Championships will be held tomorrow at Ke'ehi Lagoon.

Preliminary heats begin at 10 a.m., followed by the semifinals and finals, expected to be held in the afternoon.

Kamehameha-Maui is the defending boys champion. Punahou is the defending mixed crew champion and has won the past two girls titles.

LANE ASSIGNMENTS

Listed in lanes 1 through 8

GIRLS

Heat 1: 'Ānuenue, Kamehameha, KS-Maui, Kanu O Ka 'Āina, Kalāheo, Pac-Five, Baldwin, Moanalua.

Heat 2: KS-Hawai'i, Kaua'i, Kailua, Punahou, Seabury Hall, Honoka'a, Kapolei, Radford.

BOYS

Heat 1: Kamehameha, Nānākuli, Seabury Hall, Kealakehe, Konawaena, King Kekaulike, Wai'anae, Waialua.

Heat 2: KS-Hawai'i, Kapa'a, Mid-Pacific, Kapolei, KS-Maui, Castle, Hawai'i Prep, Mililani.

MIXED
