Honolulu Academy of Arts to open pau hana once a month — with food

Starting March 11, the Honolulu Academy of Arts will be open late every second Thursday, offering an opportunity to tour the galleries until 9 p.m. plus enjoy small plates and beverages at the Pavilion Cafe.
"aloHAA," as they're calling it, will see the academy and its shop open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on second Thursdays, and the Pavilion Cafe open not just for lunch but as a self-service lounge from 5-9 p.m., offering pupu, drinks and music (live and recorded).

At the March 11 kickoff, academy director Stephen Little will give two short tours of the special exhibition "From Whislter to Warhol: Modernism on Paper," at 6 and 7 p.m.
Academy admission will apply.
