Advertiser Staff

Fresh off its live streaming of a National Letter of Intent signing day event in Waikiki, The Advertiser went to Kahuku and taped the Red Raiders signing day.

Kahuku's signing, which was supposed to start at 10:30 a.m., could not be live-streamed because of technical difficulties.
It will be available to be viewed later on www.honoluluadvertiser.com later.

Kona Schwenke, ranked No. 1 in The Advertiser top 25 college prospects, signed with Notre Dame today.
Today is the first day student athletes can sign a binding National Letter of Intent with a college.
The Advertiser's No. 2 recruit, Hauoli Jamora, also played for Kahuku and has verbally committed to Washington.
Later around 2 p.m. today, UH head coach Greg McMackin will hold a press conference to discuss the Warriors' recruiting class.
More than 60 athletes took part in this morning's signing ceremony hosted by the Pacific Island Athletic Alliance at the Sheraton Waikiki.
