Board of Water Supply crews Tuesday afternoon are continuing to repair the roadway following a break in a 12-inch water main at 1450 Ala Moana Boulevard, near Atkinson Drive.
Crews were working to cut out and replace about nine feet of the pipeline. Water service was restored at 5 p.m., but crews were continuing to repair the roadway. Repairs were expected to continue into Tuesday night. The break was on a 12-inch, cast-iron main that was originally installed in 1934.

Two right, Ewa-bound lanes on Ala Moana Boulevard in the vicinity of the break were closed.
The break was reported about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
No businesses at Ala Moana Center were expected to be affected.
