UH 'Manoa Mile’ fundraiser set for Saturday

The University of Hawai’i Women’s Track and Field program will this Saturday hold an inaugural fundraiser, “Manoa Mile.”

The mile-long race will start on the University of Hawai’i at Manoa’s lower campus grounds and finish at the track in the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.
The race will be divided into various categories, including a 400-meter “Rubba Slippa” sprint to conclude the day’s events. The winner of each race (including the “Rubba Slippa” race) will receive a champion’s T-shirt. Participant packet pickup will be at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex, 3-7 p.m. Friday and 6:30-7:45 a.m. Saturday. The first race starts at 8 a.m.
