Former University of Hawaii defensive tackle Rocky Savaiigaea will participate in the San Francisco 49ers' mini camp this weekend in Santa Clara, Calif.

If Savaiigaea is successful in his tryout, he hopes to earn a free-agent contract.

The 49ers have former UH players, Isaac Sopoaga and Travis LaBoy on their team.
