QUARTERBACKS

PLAYER SCHOOL HT. WT. 40 BP/VJ R

1, Sam Bradford Oklahoma 6-4 1/4; 236 4.79 na/na 9.3

2, Jimmy Clausen Notre Dame 6-3 222 4.76 na/na 9.3

3, Colt McCoy Texas 6-1 216 4.79 na/na 9.1

4, Dan LeFevour Central Mich. 6-3 1/4; 229 4.60 na/29 1/2 8.1

5, Tim Tebow Florida 6-3 236 4.72 25/38 1/2 8.0

SAM BRADFORD — Scout's analysis: "Everything is positive about him. He's accurate ... enjoyed meeting him. Only thing that worries me about him, if you go watch the tape, last season he had a good offensive line and he held on to the ball. ... He's gonna have to get rid of the ball quicker."

JIMMY CLAUSEN — Scout's analysis: "More physically gifted than Bradford, (but) not as accurate. Bradford's more mature. ... It looks like he's (Clausen) got all the physical tools."

COLT MCCOY — Scout's analysis: "McCoy is a good athlete. He's smart, quick, (with) adequate arm strength. I like him but I don't think he's gonna be special. If you get him, you're gonna like him."

DAN LeFEVOUR — Kiper's analysis: "LeFevour possesses the overall skill set to at least put himself In a position to win a starting QB job down the road in the NFL."

tim tebow — Scout's analysis: "He's a natural leader, a great personality. People respond to him and are attracted to him ... He has so much pride, so much determination; he'll find a way to win ... (You) just have to admire him and you can't discount him. ... problem is crossing routes, (he's) not that accurate. (He's) also very anxious. I would take him in second round to find out if he can't play. The worse thing he can be is a positive influence, which isn't bad."

C.J. SPILLER — Scout's analysis: "He's excellent. He's like a Reggie Bush, only a better returner and stronger at this stage. If he were 15-20 pounds more, he'd be the first player picked. The thing he does is give you instant offense."

JAHVID BEST — Scout's analysis: "Excellent player. He's not Spiller, though size is about same ... (Best) not a big person ... Best is fast, but, Spiller, every time he touches ball, it's a potential touchdown. ... Spiller plays bigger, stronger."

DEXTER MCCLUSTER — Kiper's analysis: "When you factor in his running ability, his sure hands for the reception, and his natural quickness/athleticism, expect McCluster to be a key component on an NFL roster for a number of years."

RYAN MATHEWS — Scout's analysis: "Our people liked him and he ran well at the (NFL) Combine. He's 220 pounds and runs 4.4."
