Traffic confrontation leads to arrest of Maili man

Advertiser Staff

A 30-year-old Maili man was arrested last night after a 19-year-old man told police the older man broke his car's side window during a traffic confrontation on Farrington Highway.

The man who filed the complaint said he and the other driver stopped at a red light about 9 p.m. when the older man got out of his car, slammed his fist into the window, began swearing at him and told him he didn't like the way he was driving.

Police were called and arrested the older man at his home on suspicion of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal property damage, a misdemeanor.
