Hawaii County police seek 2 men

Hawaii County police are asking the public's help in locating two men wanted in connection with separate incidents in January.

They are:

• Adolfo Bataluna Bustamante, 50, who is being sought for a burglary in Puna in which a woman alleges she was assaulted with a weapon.

Bustamante is described as 5 feet 6 and 155 pounds with long hair worn in a ponytail.

• Matthew Aaron Miller, 22, who is being sought in an abuse case in Puna. A woman reported a man broke into her home, assaulted her and stole her purse.

Miller is described as 5 feet 6 and 145 pounds.

He also is wanted in separate theft and identity theft investigations.

Anyone with information on Miller's whereabouts is asked to call Detective John Ancheta at 961-2276. Anyone with information on Bustamante is asked to call Detective Lorenzo Artienda at 961-8839.

Information can also be called in to the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call CrimeStoppers in Hilo (961-8300) or Kona (329-8181).
