BENCHMARK HOSPITALITY INTERNATIONAL

Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed Dida Hernandez director of food and beverage for Turtle Bay Resort. Over the past 12 years, Hernandez has progressed to positions of increased responsibility, having most recently served as director of conference services.

ROYAL HAWAIIAN CENTER

Royal Hawaiian Center has added three new members to its management team: chief engineer Wilson Barruga, operations and facilities maintenance manager Douglas Tom and senior leasing manager Rebecca Tillery.

Barruga, a mechanical engineer, was most recently chief engineer at Aloha Tower Marketplace.

Tom, who has 21 years of operational management experience, was most recently a project manager with Kyoya Management Company Ltd./ Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

Tillery, who has 22 years of Hawai'i real estate experience, was most recently principal broker of her own firm, Tillery Realty.

KAUA'I ISLAND UTILITY COOPERATIVE

Carol Bain, Alan Smith and Jan TenBruggencate have been elected to Kaua'i Island Utility Cooperative's board of directors for a three-year term.

HAWAI'I PACIFIC UNIVERSITY

Hawai'i Pacific University Board of Trustee members Wilmer Morris and Henry Rice have been named trustees emeriti. Morris is the retired senior vice president of Bishop Trust Company Ltd. Rice owns Kaonoulu Ranch on Maui.

ENTREPRENEURS FOUNDATION

Bennett Wo has agreed to chair the board of directors of The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawai'i. He has more than 20 years of promotion, event and marketing experience and is vice president of C.S. Wo & Sons.

Hawaii Funeral & Cemetery Association has announced its new directors. Attorney, Abigail Holden has joined Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel as an associate in the firm's litigation practice. She was previously administrative law clerk to Chief Justice Ronald T.Y. Moon of the Hawai'i Supreme Court.

KALAMA HEIGHTS RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

Dana Ward has been promoted to manager of Kalama Heights Retirement Community. In her new role she will ensure that all the residents are happy and healthy and oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, from marketing to food services. She was formerly enrichment coordinator.
