Tuesday nights at Kahuku Public Library next month will include education, cooking and Halloween programs beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The free events are Domestic Violence Awareness on Oct. 6; cake decorating on Oct. 13; shrimp rolls Vietnamese style on Oct. 20; and Halloween make-up on Oct. 27.

The library, at Kahuku High and Intermediate School, also hosts on Wednesdays a Keiki Story Time at 10 a.m. and an After School Club at 12:45 p.m. A matinee film about sugar plantation life will be shown at 3 p.m. Oct. 9.

The Friends of the Kahuku Library will hold a book sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 2 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 3.
