University of Hawai�i soccer player Britta Bourne was named Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week today.

Bourne, a senior, scored two goals and had an assist for five points to help Hawai�i (4-6-1) to a pair of wins over Detroit-Mercy last week. Bourne scored the game's only goal in Thursday's 1-0 victory. On Saturday, Bourne assisted on the game-winning goal and scored a goal in a 2-0 win.
Boise State�s Lauren Hickok was Western Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Hawai�i freshman goalkeeper Kanani Taaca was nominated for the defensive honor.
