Waikiki-Kapahulu library closing for 4 days for renovation

Waikiki-Kapahulu Public Library will be closed temporarily for a renovation project from Sept. 21 to 24.

While the library is closed, the book drop will be open. However, patron can return CDs and DVDs to any open public library.

Patrons may also visit www.librarieshawaii.org from to browse the HSPLS Catalog for book titles, eBooks, digital audio books, EBSCOhost (features a wide variety of online databases), which provides full-text materials from magazines, newspapers, journals and other publications.

In addition, patrons with brief informational reference questions may use the "Ask-A-Librarian" E-Reference service via the HSPLS Web site.
Click on the "Information" tab, select e-reference, and follow the instructions. A library card is not required to use this service.

Waikiki-Kapahulu Public Library is scheduled to reopen on Sept. 25 at 10 a.m.
