Two Kauai men critically injured in Koloa crash

Two men were critically injured in a three-car crash yesterday afternoon in Koloa.
The accident was reported about 4:40 p.m. on Kaumuali'i Highway near the Maluhia Road junction, an area known as the "Tree Tunnel." Two 23-year-old Kalaheo men were critically injured and were later flown to The Queen's Medical Center on O'ahu for treatment.
A 20-year-old Kalaheo man and a 60-year-old Kapa'a man were taken to Wilcox Hospital, where they were treated and released.
Kaua'i police diverted traffic in the area for more than two hours while they investigated the incident.
