Thomas E. Mullenniex, 91, of Honolulu, died July 18, 2009. Retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel. Born in Detroit. Began Army career at Schofield Barracks in 1936. Served in Brazil during World War II, and later in Korea and Vietnam. Survived by wife, Jean; daughters, Jean Chesmore, Marie Davenport and Mary Collins-Bastian; son, Dylan Collins; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. No funeral service. Body donated for medical research to University of Hawaii School of Medicine.
