Discover 'Watt Wheels' Wednesday

Advertiser Staff

The local solar company Sunetric has been using its mobile solar power station “Watt Wheels” to help green up community events such as the All Watercraft Cleanup at Sand Island, the Haleiwa Farmers Market and Nature Play Day at YMCA Camp Erdman.

The Honda Element retrofitted with three 230W Sunpower modules can provide up to 12 hours of free solar power without a charge and raises awareness of alternative energy. Check it out Wednesday when it’s used to power up Honolulu Weekly’s Green Market on Fort Street Mall or visit www.sunetric.com for more information.
