Advertiser Staff

The deadline for submitting decorative wreaths for the City and County of Honolulu’s annual Holiday Wreath contest is 5 this afternoon at Honolulu Hale.
Crafted by island residents the wreaths will be on display in the John C. Lane Gallery of Honolulu Hale (City Hall). The wreath exhibit can be viewed from Saturday through Jan. 3.
The contest’s three categories are: Adult Wreath, Youth Wreath, or the Theme Category. This year’s theme is “Holiday Memories,” in recognition of the 25th anniversary of Honolulu City Lights and the 50th anniversary of statehood.
The exhibit is presented by the Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts. Exhibit viewing is free and open to the public, daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, call 768-6622.
