Docs 'Without Borders' to hit 444 cinemas

“Living in Emergency: Stories of Doctors Without Borders” a documentary offering a rare inside look into the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) will be screened Dec. 14 at 444 cinemas in 47 states, including one cinema in Honolulu.
The screening, which focuses on field operations in war-torn Congo and post-conflict Liberia. will be followed by a live simulcast town hall discussionbroadcast from the Skirball Center stage in New York. The discussion will be moderated by Elizabeth Vargas of ABC News 20/20. Town hall panelists will include Dr. Tom Krueger, Doctors Without Borders surgeon featured in the documentary; Sebastian Junger, best-selling author of “The Perfect Storm” and Vanity Fair contributing editor; Sophie Delaunay, executive director of Doctors Without Borders-USA, and others.
