Big Island police seek missing man

The Hawaii County Police Department is looking for a 31-year-old visitor from California who was reported missing.

Brian Miles Duffy is described as Caucasian, 6-foot-2, about 165 pounds with red wavy hair and green eyes.

He was last heard from on Feb. 24 while speaking with a relative on the mainland.

He arrived on the Big Island on or about Feb. 1. His destination was reported to be Waipio Valley.

Police ask that anyone with any information about Duffy call the Police Department's nonemergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
