Korean K-drama actor Song Il Kook arrived in Honolulu today for his first Hawai'i appearance.

He'll be the featured celebrity in the sold-out "Saturday Night Countdown" variety show tomorrow (www.showbizusa.tv), hosted by the United Korean Association of Hawaii and Beauty Touch Productions at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.

Lt. Gov. James "Duke" Aiona is scheduled to present Song with a commendation as "Ambassador of Hallyu," recognizing the enthusiasm for Korean pop culture in the Islands.
