Water main break work at Honokai Hale will continue through tomorrow

Advertiser Staff

The Board of Water Supply is working to repair a break in a 24-inch water main off Farrington Highway near Honokai Hale.

The work will continue through tomorrow, officials said. Traffic is not affected by the break, which occurred off the shoulder of Farrington Highway, town-bound after La'aloa Street.

The water main is used to fill the Leeward Coast reservoirs. The Board of Water Supply is urging all residents from Honokai Hale to Makaha to use water sparingly. Residents should refrain from doing laundry, watering lawns or washing cars at this time, officials said.
