Black Eyed Peas to perform at Bayfest

The Black Eyed Peas will be the featured act at this year's Bayfest Hawaii 2009 at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

The announcement was made this afternoon via a news conference with concert promoter Tom Moffat and representatives for the Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Käne‘ohe.
The Black Eyed Peas last played in Honolulu in 2006.
The Bayfest is held annually on the Marine Corps Base. The event is usually scheduled for Fourth of July weekend, but was this year rescheduled for August 14 through 16.
The Black Eyed Peas, who currently have the No. 1 album on the Billboard charts, will perform Saturday, August 15 on an airfield on the Käneçohe military base,
Tickets for the concert are $45 in advance and $55 at the door, and go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 877-750-4400.
