Reynolds Recycling opening two new redemption centers

Advertiser Staff

Reynolds Recycling will open certified redemption centers in Temple Valley and Nanakuli on June 16, the company said yesterday.

The Temple Valley redemption center is at the Ko'olau Center, 47-388 Hui Iwa Street. The Nanakuli Village redemption center is at the site of the former Camp Andrews, 89-102 Farrington Highway.

Both centers will be open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both centers will also buy non-ferrous scrap metals, such as aluminum, copper and brass.

"We are always excited when a new redemption center opens, but are especially glad to be back into the Kane'ohe area after being displaced for over a year," Reynolds Recycling president Terry Telfer said in a statement. "The Nanakuli location will make recycling convenient for everyone traveling on Farrington Highway because of its location at the beginning of Nanakuli."
