MLB: Brewers’ Cameron suspended for contact with umpire

Associated Press

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Mike Cameron has been suspended for two games after he made contact with an umpire Saturday against the Atlanta Braves.

The suspension was scheduled to begin Tuesday night when the Brewers hosted the Colorado Rockies. But because Cameron has filed an appeal, he will be allowed to play until it is heard.
Cameron was ejected by plate umpire Marvin Hudson for arguing a called third strike in the ninth inning of the Brewers’ 3-0 win. Hudson’s cap was pushed back as the two argued face to face.
Cameron was also fined an undisclosed amount. He is batting .278 with 12 home runs and 30 RBIs.
