High surf advisory in effect for south facing shores

A high surf advisory remains in effect for south facing shores through 6 a.m. tomorrow.

Wave faces along O�ahu�s South Shore are expected to be about 8 feet.
The surf will remain high through this afternoon, when it will start to drop.
The National Weather Service warns the waves could produce dangerous rip currents.
Meanwhile, surf along O�ahu�s north face shores will have wave faces from 1 to 3 feet.
Wave faces on west and east facing shores will be from 2 to 4 feet.
