Community center opens its pair of new tennis courts
Two new tennis courts have opened at the Kula Community Center.
The $2.5 million project included infrastructure improvements that were needed due to the sloping terrain, realignment of a driveway and installation of a new water line. The work was done by contractor David P. Ting & Sons and completed in 11 months.
The original two Kula tennis courts were built in 1997.
