Community Conservation Fair to take place in Waikiki Saturday

ING Direct Cafe in Honolulu is hosting a Community Conservation Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the cafe, 1958 Kalakaua Ave in Waikiki. The focus is education about conserving Hawaii’s natural and cultural treasures and opportunities to get involved.
These speakers will appear:
• Hawaii State Senator Gary Hooser
• Ben Namakin and Kimo Carvalho (co-founders of Climate Revolution)
• Jeff Mikulina, Executive Director of the Blue Planet Foundation
• Leilani Munter, an Indy Pro Series Race Car driver and climate change activist
There will also be activities and demonstrations, including cooking demos and tastings, interactive and virtual reality games, worm composting and exhibits from local artists and Hawaii Conservation Alliance partners.
