Real dogs play starring roles in the feature film at tomorrow�s Kids First! Film Festival: �Heidi 4 Paws: A Furry Tale.�
This installment of the free film festival in the University of Hawai�i Art Auditorium is aimed at kids ages 5 to 12 and fits four films into 82 minutes.
Starting at 3 p.m., catch three shorts: �Ish,� about the importance of creativity; �Wild About Books,� a rhymed story about a librarian who introduces animals to reading; and finally �The Happy Duckling,� about a boy and a duck.
The final film is a 58-minute retelling of �Heidi,� with real dogs playing roles voiced by top actors.
