Traffic stop leads to stolen car arrest in Ko Olina

Advertiser Staff

A 50-year-old Maili man who was stopped initially early this morning on Farrington Highway for a traffic offense was later arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle.

A patrol officer was preparing to issue a speeding citation to the man after pulling him over near Ko Olina when he learned a car rental firm had reported the car stolen.
He then arrested the driver on suspicion of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
