Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers asked for the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection with the attempted sexual assault of a boy Tuesday at Kaimuki Middle School.

Police said the boy went to a restroom at the school at about 10:45 a.m. when a man came out of the handicap stall. The man grabbed the boy from behind and dragged him into the stall, police said.

The victim, 11, called for help and managed to flee after a brief struggle, police said.

The suspect is described as in his 20s, 5 feet 6, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes. Police said the man was wearing a black jacket, blue denim pants, black gloves and dark glasses.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellular phone.
