The third-ranked University of Hawai'i women's water polo team won two matches today in the first two rounds of the UC Irvine Invitational at Irvine, Calif.

Kelly Mason scored six goals and Lisa van Raalte four as the Rainbow Wahine (8-4) beat No. 13 Cal State Northridge, 14-10.

UH then beat San Diego State, 9-5, behind three goals from Leonie Van Der Molen.
