HILO — Hawaii County police have charged a Hilo man with numerous credit card, identity theft and theft offenses.

Richard Noeau Oili-Sanchez, 25, was charged with one count of unauthorized possession of confidential personal information, seven counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, seven counts of theft and seven counts of third-degree identity theft. He is being held at the Hilo police cellblock in lieu of $18,250 bail.
A stolen newly-issued debit card was used at various locations in East Hawaii — including an automated teller machine, a gas station and a retail store. In October, police released images from a surveillance video and asked for help in identifying the suspect.
Police credit the public for assistance in identifying Oili-Sanchez from the surveillance photos.
