A 49-year-old Nanakuli man was arrested last night after he allegedly tried to slash a 37-year-old woman with a kitchen knife.

The woman, 37, told police the man got upset at her about 6:30 p.m. when she returned from the store without his medications.
An argument ensued and the man became more upset to the point he grabbed a large knife and attempted to slash her, the woman told police.
They said she was able to get out of the house and call 911.
Police were sent to the scene and arrested the man, without further incident, on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
