A man wanted in connection with the Saturday stabbing of a woman in Mililani was arrested yesterday.

Delvin Kelley was arrested about 1 p.m. at the Honolulu Police Department's main station on South Beretania Street. He was booked for investigation of attempted murder and remained in custody pending charges.

At about 2:45 p.m. Saturday, police said a 25-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times at her residence in the Melemanu Woodlands complex on Waikalani Place. The woman was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.

Police launched a manhunt for the suspect, described as the victim's ex-boyfriend.

Kelley's criminal history shows a conviction in July for third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, according to information from the state Criminal Justice Data Center. Kelley was sentenced to two days confinement.
