LIHUE — A 25-year-old Koloa man was arrested for drunk driving Monday night after rolling his sport utility vehicle several times on Rice Street.

Kauai police said Joshua Collins sustained cuts but refused medical treatment.
He was arrested after failing a field sobriety test. Collins was released after posting $250 bail.
According to a preliminary report, Collins was westbound on Rice Street at around 8 p.m. and approaching the Kapulī Highway junction when he swerved to avoid an unidentified vehicle that was making a right turn onto Rice from Kapulī.
Collins lost control of the SUV, resulting in the vehicle rolling over several times before coming to a stop in the westbound lane of Rice Street.
