NBA: Sloan has knee replaced
Associated Press
SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan has had right knee replacement surgery.
The Jazz said Thursday the surgery went well and the 67-year-old coach was recovering.
Utah's 21st season under Sloan ended Monday night with a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, who won the first-round series 4-1.
Sloan signed a one-year extension in January that will keep him with the Jazz through the end of next season.
