MONTGOMERY, Ala. The Iron Bowl will be played the day after Thanksgiving the next two seasons.

CBS Sports said Friday that it will televise the next two Alabama-Auburn football games nationally. The games will be moved to Friday on the last weekend of the Southeastern Conference

Next season's game will kick off at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 27 at Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium. The 2010 game will be played on Friday, Nov. 26 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

The game was moved two years ago after SEC athletic directors voted in May to require all teams to play on Thanksgiving weekend. That eliminates the open date Auburn and Alabama have scheduled since 1993 to provide an extra week before the SEC championship game.
