Small surf dominates forecast

Associated Press

A moderate north swell is expected to arrive tomorrow, but surfers will have to settle today for occasional 4-foot sets or less, the National Weather Service said.

Surf around the Hawaiian Islands is mostly 1 to 3 feet, with the occasional 4-footers along north-facing shores. West-facing shores will see surf 1 to 2 feet with occasional 3-footers, the Weather Service said. Surf along south shores will be 1 to 3 feet and surf along east shores will be 2 feet or less.
