Weather: Partly cloudy with isolated showers

A high pressure area north of the state will keep trade winds blowing at a moderate pace throughout the week, the National Weather Service said.

In addition to the normal trade wind showers, a high level low pressure area will allow some showers to become heavier than usual, forecasters said.

Here's how the rest of the work week looks:

Today: Isolated showers. The rain could be heavy at times. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tonight: Scattered showers. The rain could be heavy at times. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 11 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Wednesday: Isolated showers. The rain could be heavy at times. Partly cloudy, with a high near 83. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Wednesday night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 11 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 83. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
