Hawaii flights through Houston affected by Hurricane Ike

Hawai'i travelers flying to Houston should be aware that Continental Airlines has suspended operations at its Houston hub at Bush Intercontinental through tomorrow because of Hurricane Ike, a news release said.

Continental Express and Continental Connection flights are also suspended through tomorrow, airline officials said.

Continental plans to begin flights at the hub Monday morning.

Travelers with itineraries to, from or through the Houston hub may postpone or reroute their trip without penalty.

If a flight has been canceled, a refund may be requested. Details are available at www.continental.com.

Travel plans also may be changed at www.continental.com. Customers should enter their confirmation number and last name in Manage Reservations. Customers may also call 800-525-0280.
