Police today opened an attempted-murder investigation into critical head injuries suffered by an 'Ewa Beach woman.

The 36-year-old woman's husband told police he found his injured wife after returning home from work at 3:50 a.m. today. The man, 36, was questioned by police, who found an undisclosed weapon in the home, according to HPD spokesman Maj. Alan Bluemke.

Police have made no arrests.
