WHAT'S OPEN AND CLOSED
Labor Day

Here's what's open and closed today:

  • State and county offices: Closed

  • Federal offices: Closed

  • Mail: All post offices closed.

  • Libraries: Closed. For information, visit www.librarieshawaii.org or call your local library.

  • TheBus: Operating on a Sunday schedule, including Express A, B, C, 201, 202 and 203. Route 20 and 42 on Sunday/Arizona schedule. Routes F2, F3, F11, F12 and F13, weekday schedule. Information: 848-5555.

  • TheBoat: Operating on a weekday schedule.

  • Handi-Vans: Operating

  • On-street parking: Free, except for metered stalls on Kalakaua Avenue along Kapi'olani Park; holiday tow-away zone parking as permitted by sign; meters in municipal lots must be fed.

  • Traffic: No coning.

  • Parks, recreation centers, municipal golf courses, botanical gardens and Honolulu Zoo: Open

  • Trash: Regular rubbish pickup

  • Landfills/refuse transfer stations: Open

  • People's Open Markets: Closed

  • Banks: Traditional and in-store branches closed.
