The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team moved up a spot to No. 6 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 Poll.

The Rainbow Wahine (12-2) did not play this week, but previous No. 4 Southern California and No. 5 UCLA lost this past weekend.

Penn State (16-0) remained at No. 1, receiving all 60 first-place votes. The only other undefeated team in the Top 25, Nebraska (15-0), remained at No. 2, followed by Texas (10-2).

The Rainbow Wahine resume Western Athletic Conference play this week as they host Louisiana Tech Friday and New Mexico State Sunday.
