Teen arrested for alleged assault, cell phone theft

A 17-year-old male was arrested at 1:50 this morning on suspicion of second degree robbery.
Police said a 23-year-old man was allegedly walking on Kuhio Avenue when he was approached by the suspect, who asked to use the victim's phone. The suspect allegedly then punched the victim, took his phone and fled on foot.
Police were notified, located and arrested the suspect.
