CFB: No. 7 Texas Tech receiver injures foot on catch

LUBBOCK, Texas — Michael Crabtree, the leading receiver for No. 7 Texas Tech, did not return in the second half after injuring his right foot midway through the second quarter today.
Crabtree jumped and pulled in a 6-yard pass between two Baylor defenders at the Bears 1.
A television replay showed he twisted his right ankle as he landed. He hobbled to the Red Raiders bench and a few minutes later was taken to the locker room on a motorized cart.
Crabtree came out after the second half began with a boot on his right foot and limped along the bench talking with teammates.
Crabtree, winner of last year's Biletnikoff Award, has 93 catches for 1,135 yards and 18 touchdowns this season.
Earlier this season, he was dealing with an injury to his left ankle for a few games.
Baron Batch scored a touchdown on the play after Crabtree got hurt to put the Red Raiders up 14-13.
