"All For Melissa" filmmakers launch contest, sign DVDs today

"All For Melissa," the made-in-Hawai'i movie directed by Honolulu's Gerard Elmore, was released this month on DVD and is now available in local stores, including Barnes & Noble, Best Buy and Borders.
In conjunction with the start of the Holiday buying season, and a series of signing beginning today, on Black Friday, the filmmakers are launching a "Date Night" contest, giving away a signed DVD of "All For Melissa," a $50 Visa gift card, and a home spa treatment from Love Luna Spa.

The film is the story of Jared Rogers, 22, a dreamer with a family that doesn't understand him and an unfulfilling job as a computer troubleshooter. He is also madly in love with red-hot actress Melissa Williams and has strange recurring dreams about her. Longtime friend Alicia helps Jared come up with a plan to meet Melissa. But thing don't go exactly as planned.
