H-1 airport viaduct lanes closing Sunday

Advertiser Staff

The three far left lanes on part of the H-1 Freeway airport viaduct will be closed to westbound traffic on Sunday as crews do repair work, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The three lanes from the airport on-ramp to the Kamehameha Highway/Aloha Stadium off-ramp will be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday while the crews repair the concrete pavement.

The work is part of a $9.1 million project to fix potholes along a nearly three-mile stretch of the viaduct.
