The Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa will hold a tree lighting ceremony from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m Dec. 5. in front of the hotel's waterfall.

In addition, hotel officialsl will present a check for $53,000 to the "Make-a-Wish Foundation," raised at a recent golf tournament sponsored by the Hyatt, and a second check for $5,000 to the Waikiki Community Center from Hyatt's company-wide "Hyatt Community" program funded by the Global Hyatt Foundation.

"We are proud to honor Hyatt's longstanding commitment to making a difference and supporting the community even during difficult times," said David Lewin, general manager of the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa.

The evening will also feature performances by musical groups One Right Turn and Na Leo, singing.
